Why Tajweed Matters for Every Student Who Reads Quran
Tajweed is the set of rules that protect how Quranic letters are pronounced. It is not a fancy extra for huffaz. Without tajweed, two letters that should never mix begin to sound the same. Meaning can shift. The recitation loses the beauty Allah revealed it with.
Many adults say they “already know how to read.” They finished Nazra as children and have not been corrected since. A live teacher changes that in weeks. At EQuraan Institute the tutor listens to every ayah, shares the line on screen, and drills the makharij until the mouth remembers them.
Who should take a Tajweed course
Take Tajweed if you can read the mushaf but still guess at qalqalah, ikhfa, or the difference between heavy and light letters. Take it if your child reads quickly and swallows endings. Take it if you lead salah at home and want to recite with care.
Our Tajweed classes are one-to-one, in English, Arabic or Urdu/Hindi, with male or female teachers. Three trial lessons let you hear the difference before you choose a $30, $40 or $50 monthly package.
